What affects the scope
Every board is different, so we quote after seeing what is there. The main factors are the number of circuits, the condition of existing wiring, whether the board needs relocating, space in the meter box, and any extra capacity you want for future loads. If we find something during the assessment that changes the scope, we tell you before any work starts.

- Someone needs to give us access at the start and we will walk you through the board at the end. Power will be off for part of the day, so we will confirm timing with you when booking.

- Photos of the board and meter box help us understand the job and give you an early idea of scope. For most upgrades we still confirm on site before finalising the quote.
- Should I upgrade before adding an EV charger or induction cooktop?
- Often it makes sense to look at both together. We assess the board's capacity first and tell you whether the new load can be added as-is or whether an upgrade is the better option.
